在地球上構成生命的三要素為陽光、空氣、水,俗話說:「人可以三天不吃飯,但是不可以一天不喝水。」來表達水對於人體的重要性,但是人只要缺氧4-6分鐘即可能造成腦死,若缺氧超過10分鐘,那對身體所造成的傷害是永久性的,相形之下空氣更為重要,人體藉由呼吸新鮮空氣來促進人體內的新陳代謝及血液循環,若呼吸受到汙染的空氣人體必定受損。在環保意識抬頭的現在,保護地球的議題一直受到全球的關注,減少廢氣排放是環境保護工作的重點之一,節能減碳的幫助小至人體的健康大至可以延緩臭氧層的破壞,延長地球的壽命,目前除了各國政府制定了廢氣排放的規範並嚴格執行以外,也已經有不少製造商進行綠能產品的研發以及量產,如:電動車、冷

氣機…,但相關的研發、製造、普及有些仍受制於關鍵性的問題等待突破。本文以環境保護為目標,設計共同搭乘計程車的機制,減少車輛的行駛頻率,以期可以即刻達到有效的減碳目的,本文研究如何將目的地方向接近的旅客群聚在一起,增加共乘距離,減少車輛因乘客區段下車而發生繞路的情形,最終達到環境保護的目的也節省旅客的開支,本文在系統實作的部分,向Amazon Web Services 租用雲主機,減少實體主機的啟動數量,也能減少一些廢氣的產生,除此之外,採用雲主機可彈性的控制成本,也不必擔心設備不敷未來使用情況發生。
