背景：濕疹多因於遺傳、環境、飲食不當及細菌感染等，反覆發作，不易治癒且影響生活品質。臨床給予類固醇治療，以抗發炎止癢，卻易產生副作用，導致皮膚變薄。在中醫的觀點，認為濕疹主要是先天稟賦不佳，再加上外邪侵襲導致，辨證以風濕熱邪為標，臟腑功能失調為本。治則常用祛風燥濕、清熱解毒、涼血生肌之中藥材煎煮藥液，用於外治法治療濕疹，效果不錯，但配合度不高。再者，台灣中草藥在臨床應用上，其效果不亞於傳統中藥。本研究用藥乃取自王人澍醫師之臨床經驗方「黃柏洗方」，即為固有成方「苦參洗湯」予以加減後，加入左手香、小本七層塔等民間中草藥，煎湯取液後，製成乳霜劑型，將試驗用製劑取適量於患處早晚塗抹，一天二次，每兩周

拍照記錄並填寫問卷量表，為期12周共6次。方法：本研究採面訪進行問卷，收案地點為台中慈濟醫院中醫部門診患者，收案期間為110年4月至110年11月，收案人數28人，最終完成人數10人，再依其6次量表結果加以統計分析。評估方法以患處部位拍照及使用「DLQI」、「SCORAD」及「EASI」三種皮膚量表進行評估。探討：使用試驗用製劑前後，針對皮膚生活品質量表「Dermatology Life Quality Index, DLQI」、異位性皮膚炎評估「SCORing Atopic Dermatitis, SCORAD」及濕疹面積暨嚴重度指數「Eczema Area and Severity Ind

ex, EASI」，是否能有效改善其相關生活品質與皮膚症狀。結果：就受試者特質而言，受試者90%為女性居多；各年齡層都有分佈；3年病程為最多佔50%，其次為1年以內佔30%；病位則以下肢最少，佔10%，其餘上肢、軀幹及全身各佔30%。在DLQI的整體生活品質由高度影響至輕度影響（16.2→4.5）；在SCORAD由中度影響至輕度影響（34.52→10.42）；在EASI中則輕度至輕度（4.98→1.39）治療前後皆p＜0.05，達顯著性，具統計上差異。結論：中草藥萃取液的乳霜劑型針對濕疹患者，在治療上不僅成效顯著且又兼俱保濕功能及使用便利性，因此，可以提供濕疹患者治療的另一選擇。
